” Centre for Public Policy, Law and Good Governance Organised a Session by Vision India Foundation”
On January 04th 2020, the Centre for Public Policy, Law and Good Governance of NLU Odisha organized a session by Vision India Foundation. The session started at 2:30 PM and was attended by first and second year students of the university. Mr. Anuj Shukla, a student of the second year, delivered the welcoming address and the introductory speech highlighting the work of the organisation and how it has been working through various awareness drives and fellowship programme to create leaders in the making.
The session was presided over by Mr. Kumar Shubham, Director of the Vision India Foundation. The theme of the session was “A Unique 11 Parameters Framework for Evaluating Governance in India”. It was an interactive session wherein Mr. Kumar Shubham talked about what governance and policy actually mean, explained policies of the present and erstwhile governments and answered queries of the audience using real life examples. During the session Mr. Kumar discussed about good governance projects, explained the thumb rules of governance and elaborated on the stakeholders involved in policy making and the parameters for judging a policy.
The session ended after a one and a half hour long discussion on good governance paradigm. The event culminated with handing over the token of gratitude to the esteemed guest by our Registrar Dr. Yogesh P. Singh.
